An intricate and exquisite zardozi bag, hand made in India and acquired by the previous owner circa 1930.
Black cotton velvet is enhanced with a detailed stitching of pale gold thread fashioned into a symmetrical scene of flowers and leaves.
A distinctive archway separates the cluster of flowers.
With a flap front closure, and flat strap to the back this piece has an internal divider and is in good condition.
This is a vintage item in good condition with minor thread loss and some tarnish to the gold colour of the threads.
