The 'good jeans' hypothesis

The blueprint of quintessential casual dressing and the outward expression of inherent cool, good jeans are a blessing. Yes, it's true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder but there are some basic features that will score a win every single time.

1. Fabric is material.

You've got to have good material to work with. If the fabric of your jeans is junk, falls apart easily, looks poorly thrown together, and doesn't last the test of time you're in for a rough ride. Invest in good material. It might cost a little more in the beginning but it will be worth it in the long run.

2. Expression is everything!

So, you have the right material and the outlook is good. Don't skim on presentation. Blending in with the crowd is not always safe. Jean diversity is a must. Your jeans need to express themselves in a way that mirrors who you are but also compliments the environment you're in.

 3. Switch it up...

Every now and then it's ok to switch up those genes even if it's not obvious to everyone else that you have! You don't have to stray too far from the basics to add a little pizzazz. Ankle zips, distressing, whiskering, or fading can add a new dimension to your dyed-in-the-wool blue jeans.
